Quakes Batting
Shortstop, Darnell Sweeney went 8-16 with 2 doubles, a triple, and a home run. Second baseman, Scott Wingo went 2-10 with a double. Center fielder, Noel Cuevas went 5-15 with a double. First baseman/designated hitter, O'Koyea Dickson went 4-13 with a double. Right fielder, Jon Garcia went 7-18 with a double and 2 home runs. Catcher, Pratt Maynard went 1-13 with a double. Third baseman, Pedro Guerrero went 4-11 with his first home run of the year with the Quakes. Left fielder, Devin Shines went 3-10 with a double.
Rawhides Batting
Second baseman, Kevin Medrano went 1-12 with a double. Left fielder, David Nick went 6-19 with a double and 2 triples. First baseman, Ryan Court went 4-15 with a triple. Right fielder/designated hitter, Tom Belza went 4-12 with a triple. Shortstop, Sean Jamieson went 3-14 with a double. Designated hitter, Matt Helm went 1-7 with a triple. Catcher, Yosbel Gutierrez went 2-7 with a home run. Center fielder, Evan Marzilli went 3-15 with a double. Catcher, Chris McMurray went 2-6 with a double.

Both teams pitching staffs were certainly kept busy as the Quakes used 13 pitchers and the Rawhide used 12. The first game was a pitchers duel, but the final three required a little more work.
Rancho's Pitching
Both Matt Shelton and Joel Lima pitched in games 2 and 4. Shelton went 2 innings total and did not allow a run or hit. Lima also went 2 innings without allowing a run, but he did allow 1 hit. Raydel Sanchez and Daniel Coulombe both pitched in game 3. Sanche went N inning and allowed a hit. Coulombe went .2 innings and also allowed a hit. Jon Michael Redding earned the game 3 win after going 1.1 innings and allowing just 1 hit. Eric Eadington earned the game 3 save after going 1 inning and allowing 1 hit. Starter, Jarret Martin earned the game 4 win after going 5 innings and giving up 4 runs on 6 hits. Freddie Cabrera made an appearance in game 4, going 1 inning and allowing 1 unearned run on 1 hit.
Visalia's Pitching
Seth Simmons earned the win in game 1 after going 1 inning and allowing a hit. He also appeared in game 3 and went 2 innings without giving up a hit. Kaleb Fleck earned the game 1 save after going an inning without giving up a hit. He also pitched in game tree, going 1 inning and allowing 1 run on 3 hits.
Cody Wheeler earned the game 2 win after going 6 innings and allowing just 2 hits. Matt Sample went an inning in game 2 and did not allow a run or a hit. Patrick Schuster and Jake Barrett both pitched in game 4. Schuster went 2 innings and gave up a hit and Barrett went 1 inning while also allowing a hit.
Roster Moves
RHP Duke von Schamann was sent to the AA Chattanooga Lookouts. James Campbell will be taking his spot in the starting rotation.
RHP Matt Shelton has been added to the roster from Extended Spring Training.
Catcher Chris O'Brien has been placed on the disabled list after taking a foul tip off of his right hand, which fractured his finger. Webster Rivas has been sent to the Quakes from Extended Spring Training to fill in for him.
Upcoming Games
The Quakes will play a three game series in Lake Elsinore against the Storm, 6/10-6/12. They will return to LoanMart Field for a four game series against the Stockton Ports before the all-star break begins. Thursday, 6/13, is Thirsty Thursday. Friday, 6/14, is Mike Trout Bobble-head night [First 1,500 fans, one per person per ticket] Saturday, 6/15, is firework night. Sunday, 6/16, is Father's Day and baseball card giveaway.
