JetHawks Breeze Past Quakes

In the first game between the JetHawks and Quakes at LoanMart field, the JetHawks walked away with a 6-4 win. This game started out as a pitchers duel, with the JetHawks starter, Aaron West allowing just 1 hit over 5 innings, eventually earning him the win. The Quakes starter, Gustavo Gomez went 4.2 innings before being removed after allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. The JetHawks manages to out hit the Quakes 11-4. The Quakes however, did manage to hit 2 home runs, one was a 3 run shot (Noel Cuevas) while the other was a solo shot (O'Koyea Dickson). 

Lancaster's Delino DeShields went 4-4 with 4 base hits. Rauol Torrez went 3-4 with 3 base hits. Joe Sclafani went 1-5 with the JetHawks only extra base hit, a double. Relief pitcher, Travis Ballew earned the save after going 1.1 innings and allowing 1 run on 1 hit. 

Rancho's Freddie Cabrera went 1.1 innings and allowed no runs or hits. Noel Cuevas hit the previously mentioned three run home run to give the Quakes their first 3 runs of the day and O'Koyea Dickson hit a solo home run to give the Quakes their final run of the day. Chris Jacobs went 1-4 with a single in his second game back with the Quakes. 

The Quakes take on the JetHawks tomorrow night for game 2 of the 3 game series here at LoanMart Field. Game time is 7:05 and its recycle Tuesday! Bring 10 CRV eligible bottles or cans and get a free club level ticket to the game!
